Fun Farms organized in South Cotabato

Some seventeen (17) Fun Farms were already organized in South Cotabato, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit – Tourism Research, Planning & Product Develop,emt Section disclosed.

Soith Cotabato’s Fun Farms have been existing for the past year, according to ACTM.  But the organization was only formalized on July last year after the Department of Tourism (DOT) conducted a 5-day training on Agri-Tourism which the group named as “Fun Farms of the Dreamweavers.”.

The Fun Farms were as follows: Pedion Hill, Teodoro’s Farm, SG Farm, GB Farm, Casicas Integrated Farm Diversified (Learning Site), Camp Isno, Genesis Nature Farm, V – Motril Farm (Learning Site), Dizon Blessed Garden, ECJC Farm, Bauland, R&D Farm Resort, Nenitaz Farm (Learning Site), Sto. Nino Shrine, Mariano’’s Farm

The association’s elected officers were Eric Jumilla (Pedion Hill – City of Koronadal) – President;  Richard Nicolasura (Teodoro’s Farm – T’boli) –Vice-President (External Affairs); Aldrin Mamon (SG Farm -Tupi) – Vice-President (Internal Affairs); Michelle Jayme (Sto. Nino Shrine – Polomolok) – Secretary; Agustin Pudadera III (Nenitaz Farm – Banga) – Treasuer; Ronilo Muyco (Genesis Nature Farm –  Lake Sebu) – Auditor; Sally Casicas (Casicas Integrated Farm Diversified – Sto. TNino) – PIO.

Agri-tourism is the banner program of DOT which aims to promote agri-farms in the Philippines as tourist attraction and learning site.
