Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes promised the full implementation of the Salary Standardization Law or SSL-4 next year even though the increase in the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of South Cotabato is 7% only or roughly estimated at Php 78 million in 2018.
The assurance was made by the Governor during the weekly convocation program on Tuesday this week.
Fuentes added that funds are sufficient to implement the third tranche of the salary increase as per consultation from the Provincial Budget Office.
But the MOOE or Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses might be affected, Fuentes said, because there will be no increase in its budget allocation for next year.
The SSL-4 was implemented on January 2016 during the last year of office of then President Benigno Simeon Aquino III.
