Gov Fuentes leads T’nalak post-evaluation meeting

City of Koronadal – Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes led the post-evaluation of the 15th T’nalak Festival that was held last July 10 – 18 in celebration of the 48th Foundation Anniversary of the province, last August 29 at Fred Ann’s Foodhauz, this city.

Twenty-six (26) committee chairpersons or their representatives, representing the different activities and assigned tasks to them, reported their accomplishments as well as the challenges and problems encountered during the 9-day long T’nalak Festival.

Governor Fuentes personally commended the different chairpersons for a job well-done in promoting the T’nalak Festival.

“I have been harsh with you (chairpersons) but I congratulate all of you for your outstanding performance in promoting our T’nalak Festival,” Fuentes said, after the 26 committees finished their post-evaluation report that elicited a round of applause among participants.

She added that “the challenge is for us to surpass what we have achieved this year.”

Fuentes stressed to the different committees that “challenges and problems we encountered in this year’s festival must be overcome so that the annual undertaking must level up.”

“We must plan as early as January next year so that we will all come out well- prepared before the start of T’nalak Festival comes July,” Fuentes further added.

Issues and concerns, particularly suggestions or revisions to be implemented on how the different activities will be run by next were all noted

The Governor likewise appointed Provincial Administrator Danilo Supe as next year’s T’nalak Executive Director vice Board Member Vicente de Jesus, who, like other Board Members will be assigned as Honorary Chairs to the different committees.
