Gov. Tamayo eyes micromanaging the South Cotabato Rehabilitation and Detention Center to resolve drug issues

Koronadal City— Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. calls for command responsibility among the South Cotabato Rehabilitation and Detention Center personnel as the pressing drug issue continues.

Based on the recent report, 11 inmates were found positive after the unannounced drug test recently.

“May gamay na kami nga twist para ma-resolve ang problema pero kung hindi pa gid, kinahanglan ko na gid nga mag-micro managed,” he said during his Monday press conference.Meanwhile, he encourages inmates to respect the rules inside the detention center. The Provincial Government attends to the concerns of the persons deprived of liberty and provides adequate needs.

“Untati na ninyo ina. Kapoy ka kapakaun sa inyo da. We have provided you shelter, food and security. Indi ko luyag nga i-turn over kamo sa BJMP nga mas strikto pa gid. Respetuhanay ta kay indi gid okay nga may drugs sa jail,” he explained.
