Preparations for the National Heritage Month celebration held every month of May annually is now underway as the Arts, Culture, Tourism & Museum Unit (ACTMU) conducted a Culture & Arts Sectoral Meeting recently to discuss the activities.
Tourism Operations Officer Indira Cagaanan, ACTMU Culture & Arts Coordinator disclosed during the meeting that they plan to have series of activities for the whole month of May.
The activities lined up are Filipiino Heritage Month Display which was started last year at the Provincial Capitol, Zoom or Face to Face Meeting on Culture Heritage/Education, Turnover of Cultural Mapping Profile of Tupi LGU among others.
Earlier, the Theater Arts group represented by the Apat sa Taglamig (AST) Theater Productions, briefed the group about the Drama Festival that they will conduct on September this year. AST added that they will have also a Drama Presentation this coming April involving Special Program for the Arts (SPAs) from T’boli National High School
Jear Lopez, representing Teacher Helen Grace Guadalupe of the Dance Sector is also preparing for the Folk Dance Contest this coming July 2023 T’nalak Festival that will be participated by elementary pupils. Members of the Philippine Folk Dance Society will be the invited contest judges.
