A total of P2.4 million awaits winners in the 2023 Search for Cleanest and Greenest LGU, the Provincial Clean and Green Search Technical Working Group (TWG) disclosed.
ach LGU, comprising of 10 towns and 1 city, will be alloted P218,400 cash incentive as prizes for the Inter-Barangay C;eanest and Greenest Search.
The breakdown of the cash incentive per LGU is P100,000 for the first prize, P50,000 for second prize, P35,000 for third prize, P20,000 for fourth [prize and P13,400 for fifth prize.
But the participating LGU, according to the Provincial Search TWG, has the option to provide special awards if they have fund sllocation for the said contest.
The top 3 Best Community Garden which will be evaluated also by the TWG will receive P20,000 each courtesy of Dole PhilippinesInc. who will sponsor the cash incentive.
The Inter-Barangay Contest that will be spearheaded by the respective LGU Clean and Green Search Committee is set from August to September while the evaluation and validation, including that of the Best Community Garden is on September to October.
Awarding will be during the South Cotabato Ecology Day culmination program set on the third week of November which is celebrated as Environmental Awareness Month, Clean Air Month and Climate Change Consciousness Week.
