Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao of Sarangani Province , fresh from his boxing victory, was invited to join the Sunday Mass Service of SOCCSKSARGEN region on May 4 at 8 o’clock in the morning, a day before the official opening of the Palarong Pambansa.
Pacquiao, together with South Cotabato Governor Daisy Avance Fuentes, were invited to give their respective inspirational message to the athletes, coaches, chaperons and officials comprising region 12 delegation.
This would be the second Sunday worship for the SOCCSKSARGEN region delegates since their arrival last April 24 and April 25 from Koronadal City.
Earlier, taking time-out of their cpractice, SOCCSKSARGEN delegates led by DepEd 12 OIC-RD Allan Farnazo attended the celebration of the holy mass at the “Immaculada Concepcion” (Immaculate Conception) Parish Church located in Sta. Cruz, Laguna last April 27.
Pacquaio will officially light the urn to signify the start of 2014 Palarong Pambansa on May 5 as the fourth and last runner in the torch relay.
