Twenty (21) infrastructure projects worth P P46,936,363.67 were accomplished for the first quarter of this year by the Provincial Engineers Office (PEO), this was disclosed in a report submitted by Engr. Vicente Ayongao, PEO’s Construction and Maintenance Division Chief.
The report showed that three (3) projects were finished In January, seven (7) projects in February and another eleven (11) projects in March.
The completed projects for January were Completion of Gym and Stage at Sto. Nino National High School, Sto. Nino, Completion of Stage at Brgy. Tinongkop, Tantangan and Labor for the Construction of One (1) Room for ALS Building and Stockroom at SCRDC, Provincial Jail Compound, Koronadal City.
Total project cost for January reached P2,446,591.63.
For the month of February, completed projects were Labor for the Upgrading of Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursement Counter at Provincial Treasurers Office, Finance Building, Provincial Capitol Compound; Rehabilitation of Junction New Iloilo – Cabuling Road, Tantangan; Refurbishing of Supply Office and two (2) ward rooms of patients at Norala District Hospital, Norala; Construction of Concrete Lined Canal at Purok San Vicente, Tampakan; Labor for the Construction of Conference Hall at Animal Production and Processing Center, Tantangan; Construction of Lugan Habitat Lined Canal, T’boli; and Concreting of Junction Surallah – Lamian Road, Surallah.
The 7 projects have a total project cost of P16,336,749.81.
Likewise, the 11 completed projects for the month of March were Repair of Talahik Footbridge, Surallah; Refurbishing of old SUNAS Old Dormitory Building as Bamboo Hub Production and Training Center, Surallah; Construction of 5-span Gym and Stage – KCES 1, City of Koronadal; Improvement of Jail Facilities (Expansion of Dalawan/Function Hall), City of Koronadal; Construction of Klinan Hanging Bridge Abutment “B” Protection, Polomolok; Construction of Mini-Gym at Tasiman, Lake Sebu; Construction of Stage at Brgy. Improgo, Banga; Completion of 2-span Gym at Brgy. Benigno S.Aquino, Norala; Rehabilitation of Canahay-Sibuyon Road and part of Sibuyon Bridge, Surallah; Concreting of Junction National Highway-Paraiso-Tinongkop FMR, City of Koronadal; and Concreting of Stage at Brgy. Panay, Sto. Nino.
Total project cost for the 11 projects amounted to P28,153,022.23.
Meanwhile, the PEO reported that 24 projects are still on-going province-wide with total project cost amounting to P139,160,971.68.
