Police authorities in South Cotabato are ready for the safe and fair national and local elections on May 9, 2022, the South Cotabato Police Provincial Office said.
“We are ready.” P/Captain Renjun Bagaman, information officer of the SCPPO said during the press briefing held early this week held at the Capitol.
Yesterday, Police Regional Office 12 led by PRO 12 Director PRO-12 Regional Director P/BGen Alexander C. Tagum conducted a sent-off ceremony for police officers who will be detailed to different areas in the region.

In South Cotabato, at least 800 local police personnel were already deployed to all precincts and polling centers all over the province. In addition to this are also augmentation forces from the regional offices, national support units, and the national headquarters.
“Aside from security to polling precincts, our police officers are also tasked to secure transportation of ballot boxes and assist the forwarders before and after the elections,” Bagaman said,
