PPDO –REM authenticates 519 Civil Registry Dox

Some 519 civil registry documents were authenticated by the Provincial Planning and Development Office – Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (PPDO-REM) Division in partnership with Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – General Santos City in celebration of National Statistics Month (NSM) every October of the year.

Breakdown of the civil registry documents authenticated, according to PPDO-REM, were as follows. Birth Certificate – 416, Marriage Certificate – 69, Death Certificate – 5, and Certificate of No Marriage Available (CENOMAR) – 29.

The birth, marriage and death certificates, and CENOMAR authentication fee per copy are P190 and P245, respectively, inclusive of the P50 Secretary’s Fee charged by PPDO.

Meanwhile, PSA announced that the Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) is scheduled on November 13 (Monday) at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center.

PSQ is an annual quiz participated previously by college freshmen province-wide, but with the introduction of DepED K-12 curriculum, the contest is now open to Year 11 Senior High School students.

NSM theme for this year is “Figures for the Future; Realizing AmBisyon Natin 2040 Through Statistics.”
