President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., popularly known as President BBM is invited as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the 24th T’nalak Fesival on July 18 which coincided with the 57th Foundation Anniversary of South Cotabato.
Provincial Information Officer Rudy Jinenea (2023 T’nalak Festival Director) disclosed during the launching of the “100 Days Countdown to the T’nalak Festival” on Monday that the province will invite Pres BBM to speak during the Anniversary Program of the festival.
PIO Jimenea likewise revealed that aside from the regular T’nalak budget of P21 million, they requested for an additional P10 million for the week-long celebration.
The highlight of the festival include the Opening and Anniversary Programs, Street-dancing Competitions, Bahay Kubo, Mutya ng South Cotabato, Dance Festival, T’nalak Strip, Food Garden, among others.
The theme of this year’s T’nalak Festival is “Onward South Cotabato: Dreaming Big, Weaving More Progress, Rising Above Challenges.” The colors that the festival will adopt are blue, yellow and brown/
