Prov’l Engrs completed, on-going projects reach P300-M

The Provincial Engineers Office (PEO) has reported a total of P 300,222,245.31 completed and on-going infrastructure projects from 2013 up to the present, in a reported submitted by the PEO recently.

 

Provincial Engineer Marnilo Aperocho disclosed that out of the total project cost reported, 63.13% or P 189,530,303.46 were completed projects while P110,691,941.85 are still on-going projects.

 

Aperocho further said that the completed and still on-going development projects province-wide totaled 159, and it include 5 box culverts, 4 bridges, 108 buildings, 9 drainage/lined canals, 6 flood control, 19 roads, 3 water systems and 5 other appurtenant structures.

 

Completed projects include 3 box culverts, 3 bridges, 68 buildings, 6 drainage/lined canals, 5 flood control, 17 roads, 2 water systems and 5 other appurtenant structures.

 

PEO plans to finish the remaining projects within this year, despite other projects that are also planned to be accomplished within the year.

 

Other projects still in the pipeline are the completion of the Upper Valley Hospital in Surallah, completion of the 3-storey U-shape building inside the provincial capitol and the 3-storey extension building inside the provincial hospital compound.

 

Food security road projects traversing in the towns of Polomolok, Tupi, Banga, Surallah and T’boli and likewise, tourism are road projects in Linan, Tupi and Lake Sebu that are and funded and implemented by national line agencies also expected to be finished within the year.
