The Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO) has collected a total of Php29.34 million coming from the province’s 10 towns based on the RPT Summary of Collection as of February 15, 2021.
Out of the said collection, Php11.9 million were collected from real property owners who availed of the present condonation of real property taxes (rpt) or tax amnesty.
For the collection with tax amnesty, Banga has the highest collection of Php2.7 million; Polomolok , Php2.45 million ; Norala, Php1.57 million; Tupi , Php1.29 million; Tampakan, Php970,617; Tantangan, Php963,243; Lake Sebu, Php700,743; Tboli, Php626,248; Sto. Niño, Php515,657; and Surallah Php167,582.
Meanwhile, total collection without amnest for the same period has reached Php17.36 million. Pololomolok has the highest collection with Php5.49 million; Surallah, Php5.2 million; Tampakan, Php1.9 million; Banga, Php1.3 million; Tupi, Php1.05 million; Norala, Php571,170; Lake Sebu, Php525,920; Tantangan, Php517,248; Tboli, Php427,559; and Surallah, Php223,472.
Provincial Treasurer Alvim Batol said the provincial share out of this collection has reached Php7.1 million.
The condonation of delinquent real property taxes is until June 2021.
