RD Foundation, a foundation established by the Rivera Family of General Santos City has donated boxes of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the province through the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO).
Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Rogelio Aturdido Jr., together with some IPHO staff was on hand to receive the donation from Ryan Vidanes of RD Foundation.
Dr. Aturdido thanked RD Foundation and said that the PPE donation is of great help especially to frontline health care workers due to the on-going CoViD-19 threat that has already become pandemic.
The donation consisted of 1,000 pieces of Face Mask with Eye Shield, 3,000 pieces of Surgical Face Mask, 50 pieces of N95 Masks, 50 pieces of Face Shields, 200 pieces of Isolation Gowns, 200 pieces of Surgical Hoods, 2 pieces of Skin Cleaner, 3 boxes of Hospital Curtains.
John Salcedo, IPHO Administrative Officer disclosed that the donation will serve as a buffer until the PPE of IPHO is fully exhausted.
