CITY OF KORONADAL — Resort owners from Lake Sebu, Tantangan, Tboli. Banga and Norala were trained recently by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit on Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) to enhance their skills in managing their respective resort and tourism establishment.
Tourism Operations Officer I Francisco Cerbo Jr., ACTM Tourism Promotions and Marketing supervisor disclosed that they plan to train 80 resort owners on FBSE, particularly those who are new in the business all over the province.
The next batches, according to Cerbo, will undergo similar training on November which is celebrated as National Tourism Month.
Ralph Buendia, an entrepreneur and accredited trainer of the Department of Tourism (DOT) conducted the whole-day training at Viajera Hotel and Resto, this city. He is still the same trainer this coming September, according to Cerbo.
The trainer discussed with the participants topics such as the Impact of CoViD-19 to the Tourism Industry, Tourism Touchpoints, Filipino Value, Service Excellence, Service Recovery, GUEST Techniques, among others.
