SOX eyes to win minor awards

DAVAO CITY – The SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Athletic Delegation is not only focused on attaining awards on regular sports but on minor awards as well.
Before the competition begins, preparation was made to get the minor awards such as Most Disciplined Delegation, Most Organized Delegation, Best Billeting Center; and Cleanest, Greenest and Eco-Friendliest Delegation.
Deped 12 Regional Allan Farnazo established a committee on Discipline, Quarter Master and Clean and Green Brigada headed by Mr. Alex Floro as the Dean of Discipline.
This committee sees to it that proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation, and preservation of the environment is upheld during the conduct of the palaro.
This is in support of the implementation of the Clean and Green, Healthy, Organized and Eco-Friendly Palarong Pambansa.
A committee on Liturgy and Spiritual Activities with fr. Ricardo Pajarillo Jr. as the Delegation Spiritual Adviser and trainer was also established to prepare the athletes spiritually and psychologically.
“There has never been a palaro that our delegation was prepared like this,” Farnazo said.
He added, he is happy seeing the SOX athletes beaming with pride and confidence whether in times victory or defeat. These committees helped a lot, he said.
