Thirteen (13) Barangays in the municipality of Tantangan underwent Social Preparation (Orientation and Organization of Local Mapping Team) which is Phase II of the Cultural Mapping Project (CMP) of the Arts, Culture, Tourism anf Museum (ACTM) Unit.
Tourism Operations Officer II Indira Cagaanan, ACTMU Arts & Culture Coordinator, thoroughly discussed the Rationale and Overview of Cultural Mapping Project Activity to the attendees.
Likewise, Engr, Hanz Fernandez, CMP CMP Editor, lectured during the afternoon session about Cultural Heritage and Cultural Property, Identification/Inventory of Cultural Heritage/Properties, and l also spearheaded the Organization of the Local Mapping Team
Barangays that participated during Day 1 (May 18) were Cabuling, New Cuyapo, New Iloilo, New Lambunao, Poblacion and San Felipe, while for Day 2 (May 19) were Bukay Pait, Libas, Dumadalig, Maibo, Magon, Tinongcop and Mangilala.
Phase III of the CMP Project is Training of the Local Mapping Team while Phase IV is Data Gathering.
