One thousand one hundred ninety six (1,196) documents were processed by the Provincial Planning and Development Office – Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (PPDO-REM) Division as part of its authentication of civil registry documents in celebration of the National Statistics Month (NSM) last October.
Based from the report of PPDO-REM headed by Engr, Eleazer Abellera, the breakdown of the documents were, Birth Certificate – 895; Certificate of No Marriage Available -– 115; Marriage Certificate – 164; Death Certificate – 22.
The documents were processed from October 3 to 28 but with additional requests from clients, it was extended until November 2.
Philippine Statistics Authority – Gen. Santos City is the partner of the provincial government in this yearly program.
NSM 27th year celebration theme this year is “Sustainable Development: Making Statistics Count.”
