Tnalak color run to donate proceeds to HIV/AIDS program

Koronadal City—-This year’s Tnalak Color Run, a five-kilometer fun run activity during the weeklong Tnalak Festival this July, will donate the proceeds of the activity to the HIV and AIDS program of South Cotabato.

Janette Aballe, Tnalak Color Fun Run Secretariat, said the team invited 1500 participants who are mostly students from various high school and colleges in the province.

“This is one way or the other a campaign to end the spread of HIV and AIDS virus among young people since people living with this are getting younger each year,” Aballe said.

The committee proposed at least P200, 000 and is expecting more than P400, 000 return of investment from P300 registration. Registration includes shirt, race bib, light meal and a chance to join the raffle draw.

“Registration is now open. Kindly visit the Provincial Health Office during weekdays or at the KCC Mall, in front of Jollibee, during Saturdays and Sundays,” Aballe said.

However, the committee encouraged the public to avoid registering a few days before the event.

The Color Run is set on July 14, four in the morning in front of the South Cotabato Sports Complex.

The fun run will have two categories this year—male and female category.
