Tourism Office now back in business after quarantine

Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit is now back in business starting today (May 10) after undergoing home quarantine for 2 weeks after its employees came into close contact with a CoVid-19 positive individual.

An ACTM employee was found infected with the virus with last contact on April 23 and later confirmed by PESU to be positive after RTPCR swab test.

Disinfection of the ACTM office was also conducted immediately by the PDRRM Office and a similar RTPCR swab test was conducted among ACTM employees, including SPES employees, which gave negative results.

But employees swabbed were advised by health authorities to continue their quarantine until May 7 to complete the mandatory 14-day quarantine.

ACTM is currently implementing 2-team work shift per week to reduce the number of employees in attendance on a daily basis to avoid close contact among employees in the workplace.
