The total gross sales derived from selling tour packages and other tourism products during the South Cotabato Tourism Week (September 1 – 7) held at KCC Mall of Marbel Events Center reached P189,127.00, Arts, Culture Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit Marketing and Promotion In-Charge Francisco Cerbo Jr disclosed.
The breakdown, according to Cerbo, showed that Tour Packages totaled P158,245,00, while Tourism OTOP amounted to P30,882.00. OTOP stands for One Town, One Prodict popularized by the Department of Trade and Industry.
In the Tourism Products and Tour Packages Booth Display Contest. the winners are as follows; 1ST Place – Lake Sebu, 2ND Place – T’boli and 3RD Place – Surallah.
T’boli likewise won the Best in Tour Package and Highest in Gross Sales Special Awards while Lake Sebu won the Best in Booth Design Special Award.
